We use the Saxon Math series.
Students are placed in a math group based on 4th grade teacher recommendation as well as test scores.
Daily homework will be assigned. After "correcting" the assignment in class, students need to fix their mistakes showing the work. After approximately every 5 lessons, students will staple lessons together and turn it in for a "snapshot" which will be their homework grade. If they have gone back and fixed all of their mistakes they should get 100% on their daily homework. Daily homework makes up 40% of their overall Math grade.
Tests will be given after every 5 lessons. Tests scores make up 60% of their overall Math grade.
